    York, Pa.-based Memorial Hospital has selected an emergency department information system (EDIS) from Somerset, N.J.-based Wellsoft Corp.

    York, Pa.-based Memorial Hospital has selected an emergency department information system (EDIS) from Somerset, N.J.-based Wellsoft Corp.

    Wellsoft’s EDIS will be customized to meet the critical care monitoring needs of the physicians, nurses and specialists at Memorial Hospital, the company claims. Wellsoft says its implementation specialists will analyze patient flow and throughput to customize the solution to Memorial’s needs.

    Memorial Hospital provides a variety of healthcare services to the York County region of southeastern Pennsylvania. Its ED serves both adult and pediatric patients and sees more than 41,000 patients per year. Memorial Hospital is a subsidiary of Memorial Health Systems.
