Three academic medical institutions — Weill Cornell Medical College (New York), Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (Lebanon, N.H.) and Yale Medical Group (New Haven, Conn.) — are live with U.K.-based GE Healthcare IT’s new Patient Protocol Manager solution.

According to the company, Patient Protocol Manager integrates clinical trial protocols with the core administrative and scheduling capabilities of GE Healthcare’s Centricity Business suite, a revenue cycle management solution. The solution is designed to ease scheduling workflow for clinical research subjects by managing appointments and activities within the Centricity scheduling system, and helps facilitate billing compliance with customer-built rules based on individual trial specifications, the company says..
