Children’s Hospital Boston has selected enterprise document management, imaging and workflow from Shawnee, Kan.-based Perceptive Software for automation in its accounts payable department.

According to the company, the hospital will eliminate the back-office data entry process by automating the capture of relevant information for both purchase order and non-purchase order invoices. During the workflow process, the company says Children’s will utilize Perceptive’s ImageNow product to incorporate electronic data interchange transactions.

Children's Hospital Boston is a 377-bed center for pediatric and adolescent healthcare, and the primary pediatric teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
