Myrtue Medical Center, located in Harlan, Iowa, is implementing MedsTracker software from Seattle-based Design Clinicals Inc., a provider of medication reconciliation and patient safety systems.

According to the company, MedsTracker enables hospitals to improve medication management for patients and exceed The Joint Commission's (TJC) National Patient Safety Goals for medication reconciliation. The software aims to assist in the workflow of inpatient admission, transfer and discharge and the challenges of seamless integration with hospital data systems.

Myrtue Medical Center is a rural, integrated healthcare delivery system that incorporates the Harlan, Avoca, Shelby and Elk Horn Medical Clinics, as well as a behavioral health center.
