Cincinnati-based HealthBridge, a regional health information organization (RHIO), is now delivering clinical results to 23 unique EMR systems using Axolotl's health information exchange Elysium solution.

According to Axolotl, physicians can receive clinical data directly into their EMRs using Elysium — building a complete patient record. The HealthBridge community of approximately 4,500 physicians and 21 hospitals (five health systems), have been electronically communicating clinical results since 2001, says the company.

Axolotl, based in Mountain View, Calif., provides Web-based products and services that automate health information exchange and management for hospitals, clinics, labs, physician offices and RHIOs.
