Novant Health, a not-for-profit integrated group of hospitals and physician practices based in Winston-Salem, N.C., is contracting with CareTech Solutions, Inc. (Troy, Mich.) for its Web services.
CareTech says it will roll out its content management system and provide secure hosting for Novant Health’s ten hospital websites. It will also redevelop Novant’s corporate Web site, physician portals and physician practice Web sites, according to the company.
CareWorks CMS, a module-based engine, will be leveraged to migrate existing Web pages, it says. The company will work with the Novant Health Web Center team to create customizable sites for the health system, incorporating functionalities such as bill payment, patient preregistration, class registration, physician finder and appointment request form interfaces.
CareTech will host the Web sites within its data center, it says.Novant Health cares for patients and communities in North and South Carolina and Virginia. The Novant Medical Group consists of 1,097 physicians in 372 practice locations.
