Citrus Memorial Health System (Inverness, Fla.) is deploying Alpharetta, Ga.-based McKesson’s Paragon community HIS.

As part of the agreement, Citrus will implement CPOE, and will connect with physicians in its outpatient clinics with McKesson’s Practice Partner ambulatory EHR. According to the company, the Paragon HIS will be the foundation of the health system’s use of McKesson solutions for document management and medical imaging.

McKesson will remotely host the Paragon solution, which integrates critical financial and clinical solutions on a single platform, it says.

Citrus Memorial is a 198-bed, not-for-profit community hospital that provides care services to residents of Citrus County and surrounding communities.
