Memphis Managed Care Corporation (MMCC) has initiated a six month pilot program using the MEDecision Patient Clinical Summary (PCS). MMCC will deliver PCS to West Tennessee provider groups and independent practice associations participating in a state-supported pay-for-performance program.

According to MEDecision, its software is a payer-based electronic health record that compiles a member's current and historical medical data from doctors, labs, pharmacies and other sources that have been paid for by the member's health plan. MEDecision then augments the data with evidence-based medicine to create care plans and offer treatment opportunities, says the company.

MMCC is a non-profit corporation based in Memphis.
