The Lynn County Hospital District in Texas will install Austin, Texas-based Opus Healthcare Solutions’ CIS on an ASP (Application Service Provider) basis.

According to the company, this will enable the rural hospital district to obtain the latest clinical information system without a major upfront cost in new hardware and support staff. The solution provides a single point-of-access for clinicians to retrieve all patient information (vitals, lab results, medications and imaging results) from the bedside or remote locations.

The Lynn County Hospital District, which includes a critical access hospital, serves three rural counties near Lubbock, Texas.
