Two healthcare provider networks, Mercy Medical Center of Baltimore and KennedyMemorialHospitals of Voorhees, N.J. have selected Picis (Wakefield, Mass.) technology to improve patient safety and operational efficiencies in high-acuity care areas across their network of hospitals.

According to the company, MercyMedicalCenter chose Picis' perioperative automation system for all of its operating room suites spanning three different surgery areas. The hospital also uses Picis Business Transformation Services to discover process improvements and best practices.

Kennedy Memorial Hospitals will be using ED PulseCheck, Picis' Web-native emergency department information system, for all hospital campuses, which treat 118,000 emergency patients annually.
