University Offering Online Master's in Health Informatics

Professionals in the healthcare information industry can now pursue an online Master of Science in Health Informatics through the College of Applied

Professionals in the healthcare information industry can now pursue an online Master of Science in Health Informatics through the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

The program is one of just two online graduate programs approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education. Those who take the course can graduate in as few as 18 months and can become RHIA eligible with additional course work.

Individuals who are looking to advance professionally can also complete a post-baccalaureate or post-master’s certificate for university credit or a credential indicating advanced, current knowledge in the field.
