Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System, a six-hospital health system anchored by the 903-bed tertiary care Henry Ford Hospital, has signed an agreement with Rochester, N.Y.-based eHealth Global Technologies Inc. for medical records management services.

Through the eHealthConnect service, eHealthGlobal says its clinical customer support team will collect and digitize medical records and images upon request from providers referring patients to Henry Ford Health System. All medical records will then be transferred directly into Henry Ford’s CarePlus EMR, while images will be transferred directly to the department’s PACS or image viewing system of choice. All data will be transferred via a secure and private network connection.
