AMICAS Signs 16 Contracts

Boston-based AMICAS Inc., a provider of radiology and medical image and information management solutions, signed 16 new contracts in the first quarter of 2007.

Contracts were signed with hospitals and ambulatory customers, including imaging centers, teleradiology businesses, billing services, and radiology groups.

AMICAS will provide select institutions with Vision Reach, allowing physicians to deliver images and results after the completion of each study, and Insight Services, a suite of billing services designed to convert receivables into cash, contends the company.
