Liberty Hospital, a 250-bed community hospital located in Liberty, Mo., has gone live with several clinical components of Atlanta-based Eclipsys’ Sunrise Enterprise suite of solutions.
According to the company, Liberty deployed CPOE and electronic documentation and charting solutions in its emergency department to improve the speed and quality of both medication and non-medication patient orders. Users are also able to enter inpatient physician orders, routine patient encounters and patient admissions electronically, it touts.
The hospital has also gone live with Eclipsys’ integrated pharmacy information system, Sunrise Pharmacy.
Liberty Hospital is a regional medical center serving Clay and Platte counties as well as the northwest Missouri corridor. Founded in 1974, Liberty Hospital is a public, non-profit hospital, created as a political subdivision district hospital under Chapter 206 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri.
