Four rural critical access hospitals, all being served by a common radiology group, have selected Amicas Vision Series PACS as the platform on which to consolidate each facility's imaging needs.

The four hospitals include: Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital, Lebanon, N.H., Mount Ascutney Hospital and Health Center Windsor, Vt., New London Hospital, New London, N.H., and Valley Regional Hospital, Claremont, N.H.

According to Boston-based Amicas, its Vision Series products provide an end-to-end solution for imaging centers, ambulatory care facilities, and radiology practices. The company contends that hospitals are provided a fully integrated, HIS /RIS ((hospital information system/radiology information system)-independent PACS, featuring advanced enterprise workflow support and scalable design.
