In an effort to support patient satisfaction and clinical integration, Temple, Texas-based Scott & While Healthcare has selected Barrington, Ill.-based GE Healthcare IT’s Centricity business suite. The company says the integrated group practice model is scheduled to implement Centricity Business Patient Access, Physician Revenue Cycle Management and Business Intelligence solutions across its enterprise.

The suite will provide Scott & White with tools to manage cash flow, improve patient satisfaction, and access performance data across the enterprise, the company claims. In addition, the business platform will enable connectivity across multiple applications within Scott & White, including its EMR and PACS.

Scott & White is the sixth largest integrated group practice model in the nation. It operates the largest multi-specialty practice in Texas, with more than 750 physicians and scientists. Hospital locations include the flagship Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, a 660-bed tertiary/quaternary facility, and recently-opened hospitals located in Round Rock and Temple, Texas.
