Three more hospitals in the Washington, D.C.-based Department of Defense (DoD) have deployed the Essentris EMR from San Diego-based CliniComp as part of the company’s contract to provide enterprise-wide inpatient clinical documentation.

Over a two-month period, CliniComp implemented Essentris at the following U.S. Army and Navy military treatment facilities:

  • Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, N.C., went live in Behavioral Health, Mother Baby Unit, Labor & Delivery, Med-Surg, Nursery, and Same Day Surgery.
  • Robert E. Bush Naval Hospital, Twentynine Palms, Calif., installed Essentris in Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Med-Surg, Mother Baby Unit, and Same Day Surgery.
  • Ireland Army Community Hospital, Ft. Knox, Ky., is using the solution in the Intensive Care Unit, Labor & Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum, Med-Surg and Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

The company says its Essentris system is a multidisciplinary EMR suite encompassing inpatient documentation, reporting and clinical surveillance for enterprise-wide workflow support to acute care hospitals, academic medical centers and integrated delivery networks.
