Rochester, N.Y.-based Carestream Health, Inc. recently signed contracts for its Carestream RIS/PACS solutions with healthcare facilities, some of which also purchased computer radiography (CR) systems for digital capture of medical x-ray exams or laser imaging systems for radiographic film output of medical image files.

  • · Beaver Dam Community Hospital and Orthopaedic Associates of Beaver Dam, both of Beaver Dam, Wis., ordered Carestream PACS Web servers.
  • · High Resolution MRI (Elmhurst, Ill.) and Illinois Orthopedic & Hand Center (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) each ordered a Carestream PACS.
  • · Innovative Radiology (Houston, Texas) ordered a Carestream PACS upgrade through V-Rad Systems, Inc., an authorized distributor.
  • · Pauls Valley General Hospital (Pauls Valley, Okla.) ordered a Carestream PACS, Kodak Directview CR Classic and Elite Systems and a Kodak Dryview 8900 Laser Imager.
  • · Suburban General Hospital (Pittsburgh, Penn.) purchased two Carestream PACS Workstations and a CD Burner.
  • · Tulsa Spine and Specialty Hospital (Tulsa, Okla.) ordered a Carestream PACS through Merry X-Ray Corporation, an authorized distributor.
  • · Valley View Hospital (Glenwood Springs, Colo.) ordered a Carestream PACS upgrade.
