Marion General Hospital (Marion, Ohio) signed a seven-year agreement for remote hosting services for United Kingdom-based GE Healthcare’s Centricity Enterprise solution.
As part of the deal, Marion will implement a clinical information system while maintaining a flexible technology model with remote services, according to the company. The facility is also installing barcode medication administration, multi-disciplinary documentation and pharmacy and orders capabilities.
A 165-bed facility, Marion General is North Central Ohio’s largest hospital. It is part of OhioHealth, a not-for-profit, charitable healthcare organization consisting of 15 hospitals and 20 health and surgery centers throughout a 46-county area.
