The State of West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (WVDHHR), based in Charleston, W.Va., recently awarded Oleen a contract to provide it with 400 InterSystems CACHE licenses and one year of software updates and technical support.

The agreement calls for Oleen, a national healthcare IT consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., to provide CACHE 5.2 multi-server platform specific licenses for 400 concurrent users in a Microsoft Windows environment.

According to Oleen, the InterSystems CACHE product enables rapid Web application development creating a unified data architecture. Oleen claims the CACHE system is compatible with both Windows and VistA (Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture).
