Wheaton Eye Clinic Selects SRSsoft

Wheaton Eye Clinic, (Wheaton, Ill.) recently selected SRSsoft's Chart Manager to install in all three of its locations.

According to New York, N.Y.-based SRSoft, its clinical document management solution combines workflow tools such as digital messaging, electronic prescriptions, referral order management, integrated transcription services and customized flow sheets with a document management engine that eliminates the need for paper charts.

Although the eye clinic also evaluated EMR systems, physicians rejected the solution based upon significant costs and resistance to perform complex data-entry or change the way they practice medicine, says Wheaton.
