The Monroe Clinic of Monroe, Wis. has successfully deployed a standards-based framework that enables Verona, Wis.-based Epic Systems Corporation’s Radiant RIS to tightly integrate with Boston’s AMICAS PACS.
The AMICAS and Epic product development teams are collaborating to create an architecture that tightly integrates RIS and PACS, according to the company. This collaboration includes a multi-year roadmap to support a series of advanced functions – such as support for peer review workflows and auto-launching of specific activities in shared workflows.
Monroe Clinic is a not-for-profit health system that includes a multi-specialty clinic and hospital with more than 80 providers, a 24-hour emergency room, home care and hospice services, and 10 clinics in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
