St. Joseph, Mo -based integrated health delivery system, Heartland Health, has selected Lawson to provide its facilities with Lawson's S3 Human Capital Management, Enterprise Financial Management and Supply Chain Management Suites.

With the Lawson suite, Heartland is expecting to reduce the time and effort for monthly general ledger closing and consolidated financial report preparation, the company touts. By consolidating Heartland's core human resources, Lawson claims supply chain and financial systems in one system, the applications will help Heartland simplify ongoing system support and maintenance.

According to Lawson (St. Paul, Minn.), the regional health system will use the software applications to help increase operational efficiencies by replacing its homegrown business systems, improving data access and enabling greater visibility across financial, purchasing and workforce management processes. In addition, the company says its flexible and scalable products will help Heartland to accommodate its growth strategies in northwest Missouri, northeast Kansas and southeast Nebraska.
