Dallas-based Christus Health is installing five online clinical decision support (CDS) solutions from Elsevier, a medical and online solutions provider headquartered in Amsterdam, to meet the evolving needs of its physicians, nurses and pharmacists, says the company.

According to Elsevier, Christus selected an integrated suite of CDS solutions for pharmacy, medicine, and nursing that includes Clinical Pharmacology, ToxED 2.0, First Consult, MD Consult, and Mosby’s Nursing Consult. The solution will be deployed in 25 of Christus’ Texas-based hospitals.

Christus Health is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system comprised of more than 40 hospitals, inpatient and long-term care facilities as well as dozens of clinics, physician offices and health care services in more than 70 cities in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Utah and Mexico.
