San Diego-based Premier Purchasing Partners has awarded a new three-year contract to Belgium-based Agfa HealthCare to provide film and medical imagers to the healthcare alliance’s 2,000 member hospitals and 53,000 other alternate healthcare sites in the United States.

Agfa HealthCare provides various medical film and imagers including conventional screen film, mammography film, cine film, screens and cassettes, dry media and dry imagers, all of which will be included in the contract with Premier, according to the company. Agfa also has enterprise image management solutions and computed radiography contracts with Premier.
