Misys to License iMedica EHR

Misys Healthcare Systems (Raleigh, N.C.) has agreed to license iMedica's EHR and practice management solutions as the foundation for a new family of physician offerings focused on small-sized practices.

As part of this strategic agreement, iMedica (Santa Clara, Calif.), a provider of healthcare software solutions for small physician practices, will also act as a reseller of Misys' Payerpath revenue cycle and transaction management services to its existing and future customers.

According to Misys, initial products including ASP service offerings will be announced this November.
