Boulder, Colo.-based Encision Inc., a medical device company, says it has entered into a non-exclusive manufacturing, supply and licensing agreement with Intuitive Surgical Inc (Sunnyvale, Calif.) for the purchase and use of Encision’s technology with Intuitive Surgical Systems.

The company says the agreement with Intuitive Surgical will allow Encision access beyond conventional laparoscopy to the next generation of minimally invasive surgery. Intuitive is the developer of DaVinci surgical systems.

Encision designs, develops, manufactures and markets innovative surgical devices for a broad range of surgical procedures.
