GE Healthcare, Kryptiq Offering E-prescribing for EMRs

GE Healthcare IT (Barrington, Ill.) and Kryptiq (Hillsboro, Ore.) are partnering to distribute Kryptiq’s eScriptMessenger in conjunction with GE’s Centricity EMR and Centricity Practice Solution to provide an e-prescribing solution that will enable physicians to quickly and easily manage prescription activities.

Under the joint agreement, GE will also work with Kryptiq to expand connection capabilities and continue to address upcoming EMR certification and ePrescribing regulatory requirements, according to the companies. Currently, GE Healthcare IT distributes Kryptiq’s Patient Portal, Secure Messaging and Document Management products as part of the Centricity portfolio.
