Louisiana State University Health Care Services Division (LSUHCSD) has selected San Diego-based IntelliDOT Corp. for bar coding point-of-care services. The company says it will provide medication administration, vital signs collection and mother-baby breast milk modules, and will integrate with McKesson (San Francisco) Horizon clinical systems.
LSUHCSD is a division of the Louisiana State University Health System, Baton Rouge, La., and consists of seven hospitals with 704 beds and 300 outpatient clinics that serve the underprivileged and uninsured in Louisiana.
