The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing (Penn Nursing) has formed an academic partnership with Atlanta-based Eclipsys to provide tomorrow’s nurses with healthcare information technology experience.

Penn Nursing educators plan to use the partnership to develop and implement curriculum that incorporates Eclipsys’ information technology solutions, hardware and clinical expertise, says the company. Penn Nursing students will have access to the company’s information technology and will use evidence-based practice guidelines, clinical content and knowledge management tools.
