PinnacleHealth has selected eHealth Global Technologies Inc. (Rochester, N.Y.), a medical record service provider, to provide its transplant department with medical records and imaging collection services, called eHealthConnect.
According to PinnacleHealth, when using eHealthConnect, records and images are digitized and made accessible over eHealth Global's Internet-based viewing system, without the concern that Protected Health Information (PHI) is being loaded on computer systems outside of the PinnacleHealth local network, says the company.
PinnacleHealth is a non-profit hospital and healthcare system located in Harrisburgh, Pa.
