Gaylord Hospital, a long-term acute care hospital in Wallingford, Conn., has selected CoActiv Medical's Exam-PACS family of products in an effort to support the acquisition, analysis, distribution and archiving of its medical images.

Through CoActiv's web-based system, radiologists can view worklists and read films by logging onto the Internet, or accessing them directly over the hospital's network, says the company.

In addition, Gaylord Hospital has installed CoActiv's integrated CR (computed radiography) solution, as wells as its offsite Quad-Redundant Archiving system, which duplicates data in all four locations for disaster protection, says CoActiv (Ridgefield, Conn.).
