Promise Healthcare (Boca Rotan, Fla.), a long-term acute care hospital organizations, will be the first to implement Symbio Solutions' as-yet unreleased workforce management and optimization products: Symbio Scheduling and Symbio Time & Attendance.

Symbio Scheduling is designed to enable hospitals to schedule, assign and track permanent, part-time, contract, and per diem staff, whereas Symbio Time & Attendance allows hospitals to capture and control time and attendance for all personnel, says the Dallas-based company.

According to Symbio, its suite of solutions is comprised of four products — Vendor Management System (VMS), Internal Resource Pool (IRP), Scheduling, and Time & Attendance — designed to schedule and track all personnel from a single Web-based system.

Promise Healthcare has already implemented Symbio's VMS and IRP, contends the company.
