CSC Snaps up First Consulting

El Segundo, Calif.-based Computer Sciences Corporation is acquiring Long Beach, Calif.-based First Consulting Group (FCG) in a cash transaction for $13 per share, or approximately $365 million.

The agreement has been approved by the board of directors of CSC. The FCG board has also approved the agreement and recommends that its stockholders do the same.

The transaction is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2008.
