Suss Consulting (Jenkintown, Pa.) is launching a practice that will focus on emerging business opportunities in federal health IT markets, including the Veterans Health Administration, DOD Health Affairs, and HHS healthcare components.

The Suss health IT practice will focus on four primary consulting services: strategic and tactical planning, market research, capture management and proposal support. It will be led by six consultants with experience in several federal health IT agencies, programs and initiatives, including John Cook, president and COO of Business Computer Applications (Atlanta), and Scot Silverstein, M.D., former CMIO at Christiana Care Health System (Wilmington, Del.).
