Denver Health (Denver) has expanded InnerWireless' RFID tracking throughout its 477-bed hospital in an effort to identify and reduce waste.

After using InnerWireless' Vision, a real-time location system, to track assets throughout the Women and Children's Pavilion, Denver Health has decided to expand the system throughout the entire hospital, says the Richardson, Texas-based company.

According to InnerWireless, the hospital leveraged its existing Cisco Unified Wireless Network to track equipment. With InnerWireless' Vision, Denver Health can locate and track expensive, critical equipment with the Cisco wireless infrastructure and the Cisco Wireless Location Appliance.
