Newtown Square, Pa.-based Catholic Health East has selected Orlando, Fla.-based Craneware’s Chargemaster Toolkit suite of products for use at the system’s headquarters and 16 acute care facilities in eight states.

According to Catholic Health, it plans to use a number of Craneware’s products and services including:
· Chargemaster Corporate Toolkit to centrally manage the charge description master (CDM) for its facilities.
· Chargemaster Toolkit to locally manage the CDM at each facility.
· Online Reference Toolkit to research the latest coding regulations and changes.
· Interface Scripting Module to automatically upload CDM changes to Catholic Health East’s Siemens and Meditech patient financial systems.
· Bill Analyzer to optimize charge capture performance. · Pharmacy ChargeLink to ensure that facility-dispensed medications are billed accurately and appropriately.
