According to Agfa, the new cardiology system includes solutions for adult and pediatric echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, and vascular ultrasound. Impax Cardiovascular is designed to provide a single point of access for multimodality studies and a longitudinal, consolidated view of patient images and information.
By consolidating radiology and cardiology studies, Beaumont hopes to provide its clinicians with an integrated view of patient data, enabling images and information to be accessed securely from any PC, it says.
