Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, Wash. has implemented St. Paul, Minn.-based Lawson Software’s S3 Enterprise Financial Management and Supply Chain Management suites to help control operational costs and automate its financial and materials management processes.
The Hospital’s previous financial management system relied heavily on paper-based processes, which it says resulted in duplicate payments or overpayments. The newly installed Lawson system can build customized reports to help hospital directors better manage vendors and order supplies, according to the company.
Central Washington is a licensed, 206-bed acute care hospital delivering a full range of healthcare services in the north-central Washington region. The hospital also operates four physician clinics, including a family medicine group, an internal medicine group, a women’s health practice and an orthopedic surgery group.
