Mountain View, Calif.-based Omnicell, Inc., is unveiling a medical grade wireless supply mobile cart that it says will enable clinicians to securely access specialty supplies from any location at any time.

The cart can be used for emergency supplies or to transport sutures, catheters, pace makers, or orthopedic hardware, in addition to other functionalities. According to the company, it leverages automated lot, serial number and expiration date tracking to increase dispensing accuracy and reduce the possibility of errors.
