Kansas City, Mo.-based Cerner says it has received clearance from the FDA for ProVision Workstation - Mammography. The solution, the company says, was designed to help radiologists efficiently interpret mammography images.

According to the Cerner, the product eliminates the need for separate general imaging and mammography viewers, enhancing speed and efficiency. Cerner says the tool provides viewing for all imaging modalities — including MR, PT, US, CT, XR, XA and MG — as well as patients’ electronic records, all from one workstation.
