Heartland Health (St. JosephMo.), an integrated health delivery system, has recently licensed the Lawson (St. Paul, Minn.) S3 Human Capital Management, Enterprise Financial Management and Supply Chain Management Suites.

According to the company, the regional health system will use the applications to help increase operational efficiencies by improving data access and enabling greater visibility across financial, purchasing and workforce management processes.

By deploying Lawson's suite of solutions, Heartland expects to reduce the time needed for monthly general ledger closing and preparation of consolidated financial reports. In addition, the company contends the system will provide self-service capabilities to employees and managers, and allow Heartland to simplify ongoing system support and maintenance.
