EpicTide, a provider of privacy auditing solutions based in St Petersburg, Fla., has launched EpicTide FairWarning policy engine.
According to the software company, its solution is designed to help increase security responsiveness, identify insider security incidents, and automate compliance. EpicTide says its policy engine reviews the audit logs from health information systems, detecting alerts on security, privacy and compliance exceptions through a non-invasive audit log review approach.
The company contends its solution provides support for most healthcare applications including: Cerner Millennium, Cerner Power Chart, Eclipsys E7000, Epic Chronicles, Epic Clarity, and GE Centricity Access.
