HL7 Announces New Board Members

Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Health Level Seven (HL7), the healthcare IT standards development organization, is introducing its new Board of Directors.

Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Health Level Seven (HL7), the healthcare IT standards development organization, is introducing its new Board of Directors.

The incoming chairman, Robert Dolin, M.D., of Semantically Yours, LLC, was selected by the membership to serve as the chair-elect in 2009 and as the chairman in 2010-2011.

Four members were elected or re-elected to the HL7 board for 2009-2010:

  • Secretary — Jill Kaufman, PhD, program director, Healthcare Standards, IBM
  • Director — Stanley Huff, MD, chief medical informatics officer, Intermountain Healthcare
  • Director — Donald T. Mon, PhD, vice president – Practice Leadership, American Health Information Management Association
  • Affiliate Director — Catherine Chronaki, HL7 Greece Board of Directors
