Pacific Pulmonary Services (PPS, Novato, Calif.), a provider of home oxygen and respiratory medications, has initiated the implementation of Authentidate's Inscrybe Healthcare platform in all its patient care centers.

Under the agreement, PPS will use Inscrybe's electronic certificate of medical necessity (eCMN) module to process written orders whether a physician's office chooses to submit their forms over the Web or via fax, says the Berkeley Heights, N.J.-based software company.

According to Authentidate, PPS will utilize Inscrybe to digitally generate, track and manage documentation between its different facilities, billing center and physician offices.
