EHR Vendors Association Names Chairman
Justin Barnes, vice president of marketing and government affairs at Greenway Medical Technologies Inc., (Carrollton, Ga.) was recently elected new chairman of the Electronic Health Record Vendors Association (EHRVA).
The association, with approximately 42 member companies, is partnered with the Chicago-based Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS). EHRVA represents the majority of installed EHR solutions across the country and provides a leadership forum for the EHR community, it touts.
Barnes, who was elected on July 1 along with a vice chairman, will serve a one-year term with EHRVA.
