The second phase will explicitly address HIE-specific policies as developed by the HIE Advisory Board.

The review period will last from June 10, 2010 to August 13, 2010. At the period’s end, the Criteria Committee and HIE Advisory Board will incorporate public comments and revisions for commission review and approval. Final HIE Accreditation Program criteria is scheduled to be available for release to the public on September 23, 2010.

The first phase of EHNAC’s public review, which began in February, focused on privacy and security, technical performance, business practices and organizational resources.
