The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), a three-hospital network based in Philadelphia, has inked an agreement with DocuSys (Atlanta) to assume the maintenance of its anesthesia information management system.

The DocuSys solution will be implemented in eight additional operating rooms at HUP’s Ruth and Raymond Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine, an outpatient facility scheduled to open later this year.

HUP is the flagship hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. The health system exists along with the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine under the larger umbrella of PENN Medicine, a $3.5 billion enterprise dedicated to the related missions of medical education, biomedical research, and excellence in patient care.
