New Mexico-based Lovelace Health Plan has selected MEDecision Inc., a provider of software and services to healthcare payers, to provide it with collaborative care management solutions.

Lovelace Health Plan has licensed MEDecision's Patient Clinical Summary, a payer-based electronic health record that compiles a member's current and historical medical data and augments it with evidence-based medicine to create care plans and offer treatment opportunities, contends MEDecision.

According to MEDecision (Wayne, Pa.), its software suite includes medical management, data gathering and analytics, and clinical data exchange solutions — all used to identify patients and populations likely to benefit from care management. Solutions are also designed to streamline care management programs, optimize data analysis, automate workflow processes, and electronically connect patients, says the company.
