Atlanta-based Eclipsys Corporation unveiled Sunrise Enterprise 5.5, a suite of integrated software solutions built to enhance Eclipsys’ EHR solution.
According to the company, the newest version includes Helios by Eclipsys, an open architecture platform designed to improve the exchange of data between disparate software systems while lowering total cost of ownership.
Features of the new solution include: smart alert functionality; embedded clinical documentation interoperability and data exchange with use of industry-standard vocabularies; enhanced documentation of allergies, intolerances and adverse events; and Sunrise Clinical Analytics, it says.
Jefferson Regional Medical Center (Pine Bluff, Ark.), will be the first Eclipsys client to go live on the solution when it deploys Sunrise 5.5 later this month.
